Due to the weather forecast, Friday's JH/Y track meet @ Greybull has been postponed to Saturday, April 26.


Hello Wrangler Fans,
I hope you enjoyed the spring break! Remember that we typically schedule two track meets each week due to the likelihood that weather will cancel at least one of them. Parents/Athletes, please look for communication from the coach each week regarding which meet, or both meets, we will be attending.
Please sign up to work our two home track meets. JH/Y will be on Saturday, April 12 and the HS will be on Thursday, April 17.

On March 13th and 14th, Shoshoni Schools brought in KayLeen McCabe to visit with all of our students (K-12) regarding opportunities in CTE careers. KayLeen is a renowned contractor, television personality, and dedicated advocate for the construction industry.
KayLeen spent time with our elementary students by reading books with them in their classrooms, met with our 7th-12th grade students in an assembly, and completed a "Tiny Tool Kit" project with our 4th grade students.
A huge shout-out to Cory Clemetson (High School Woodworking Teacher) and his high school woodworking students for spending time with KayLeen learning to teach the 4th graders how to complete their tool kits.

Shoshoni High School will be offering a Drivers Education course this summer starting in June. Enrollment is open for any current 9th, 10th or 11th grade students. Applications need to be turned in by May 18th for any student who would like to participate.

The Jr. Wrangler Wrestling Tournament was a huge success with over 40 of our elementary students participating! Thank you to everyone who donated their time to make this camp a success for the 3rd year!

We will recognize the high school basketball and wrestling teams, and our student officials at a banquet on Tuesday.

Shoshoni Schools is excited to bring in KayLeen McCabe. Kayleen is a renowned contractor, television personality, and dedicated advocate for the construction industry. With a career spanning over two decades, McCabe has made significant strides both in her professional field and through her extensive volunteer work.
As the host of the DIY Network’s “Rescue Renovation,” McCabe has gained
international recognition for her expertise in home renovation and construction. Her work on the show has not only showcased her skills but also inspired countless viewers to pursue careers in the trades.
KayLeen is excited to come to FCSD #24 to share her passion about career and technical education. She will be working with all of our students (K-12) and will incorporate our high school woodworking students into the day by empowering them to teach the 4th grade classroom the skills needed to build a toolbox.


Wrestlemania is Friday night, and these kids have been working so hard! Please come watch them show off their wrestling moves at 5 p.m. on March 14th!

Due to the extreme weather and road conditions, there will be no activities after school and no activity buses running today, Thursday March 6, 2025. This includes Wrangler Round Up, Red Zone, USA Wrestling, Jr. Wrangler Wrestling Camp and AAU Volleyball. Buses will run their normal route after school only.

Hello Wrangler Fans,
Our HS Wrestlers had a great showing at the State Tournament. Brueklyn Truempler placed 3rd, Peyton & Sawyer Arnhold each took 4th and the girls team placed 12th. Branson Thompson placed 5th, Brody Shepard placed 4th and Wiley Philleo is a State Champion! The boys team also placed 12th.
Our HS Basketball teams fought hard at their Regional Tournament, but came up short of qualifying for the State Tournament.
Please congratulate our athletes and coaches on a great winter sports season. We now look to the erratic weather of spring in Wyoming and the track & field season. HS track practice begins next Monday, March 10 and the JH/Y track practice will begin on Tuesday, March 18.
We don't have any events scheduled for this week.
