The recent Giving Tree event at Shoshoni School was a resounding success, thanks to the collaborative efforts of staff, students, and the community.
This annual initiative emphasizes the importance of community involvement and support during the holiday season.
• Shooting Stars 4-H Group: This local organization plays a vital role by helping to wrap presents each year, showcasing the spirit of volunteerism within the community.
• Contango: The company and its employees have generously provided monetary donations, significantly contributing to the event’s success.
• Charis Clothing: This organization selected the Giving Tree as a recipient for their giving efforts this year, further enhancing the support for local families in need.
• Shoshoni Recreation District: Their assistance with logistical aspects on the back end of things, demonstrating effective community partnerships.
The collective effort of these groups illustrates that it truly takes a village to make such events possible, and Shoshoni School's gratitude reflects a deep appreciation for community support during this time.
We appreciate each and every person who played a part in making this year another success!
We are hiring a custodian! The position will close at noon on January 16th, interviews will take place on January 17th, and it will go before the board on January 20th. Call Amber Dye with questions at 307-876-2583. Share and help us spread the word!
Junior High/Youth Boys Basketball players are raffling off some great things. For questions, please contact Jordan Whitener at jowhitener@fremont24.com
Mr. Nelson’s 8th grade science students gave small group presentations on weather & climate to the 3rd graders. Our students then showed their “tornado houses “ to the 8th graders. After that, Mrs. Gibbel tried to blow their houses down to determine if they would withstand high winds.
We are hiring! Please share and help us spread the word! Daycare assistant applications will close on 12/23/2024.
