Shoshoni Basketball Camp for 2nd - 6th Graders!
Shoshoni Schools were made aware of an email that was sent out to numerous schools across the state regarding a bomb threat to all schools in the state. Law Enforcement and the FBI has been notified. Law enforcement is deeming this email a hoax. We will continue school and after school schedules as normal.

The JH girls basketball team finished their season on a high note; they went into the Yellowstone Conference Tournament as the #5 seed, beat #4 Thermopolis in the quarterfinals, fell to #1 Powell in the semifinals, but rebounded to beat #3 Cody to take 3rd place! Please congratulate the girls and coaches on a great season!
The HS wrestling team competed in Powell this weekend. Abrianna Kiser, Brueklyn Truempler, Lacoda Kiser took 2nd place, Branson Thompson, Kiley Bridger and Wiley Philleo took 4th at the varsity level and Brody Shepard took 1st at the JV level. The wrestlers will travel to a tournament in Worland this weekend.
The HS basketball teams played in Riverton with the girls winning three close games, including overcoming a ten point deficit in the 4th quarter on Saturday. The boys team showed incredible improvement over their three games, losing close ones to Sheridan and Cheyenne Central. The Wranglers and Lady Blue are in action at home for the Wrangler Invite this weekend. It was a great weekend to be a Wrangler Fan!!
JH/Y Wrestling Conference Tournament results: 4th place Brystl Thompson, 3rd place Sam Franks and Kinley Rodriguez, 2nd place Jaxson Medow and Bronson Haun, 1st place Logan Bacon. A special highlight of Sam Franks; he lost his first match and then won 4 straight, tough matches to take 3rd. "Our kids wrestled tough...I'm proud of them all!" --Coach Wempen
Youth girls basketball Conference Tournament results (playing in the 7th grade Big Horn Basin Tournament): The Lady Blue came in as the #4 seed and beat Meeteetse in the quarterfinals, then lost to #1 Greybull in the semifinals and had to face #2 Rocky Mountain in the 3rd place game. The Lady Blue won 19-8 over the #2 seed to take 3rd place!
JH girls basketball Conference Tournament results: The Lady Blue came in as the #1 seed, which earned them a quarterfinal bye, then they made quick work of #4 Greybull in the semifinals. In the championship game, the Lady Blue jumped out to an early 9-2 lead in the first, and fought off a 2nd quarter run by #2 Rocky Mountain; going into halftime with a 15-7 lead. The 3rd quarter saw tenacious defense from the Lady Blue as they extended their lead, scoring 24 in the 2nd half to take the 1st place trophy!! This championship earns a berth in the big school tournament next Saturday @ Worland.

The power has been restored at the school. Heaters are running, all lights are on, and we will finish the day strong. All after school activities and practices will run as normal. All busses will run as normal. Thanks
Parents: The School has been without power since 11:12 am. We have had an update from Rocky Mountain Power that power should be restored by 2:30pm. Our building is staying warm and we are planning on continuing on through the end of the school day. If the power is not restored by 3:20pm we will be cancelling all after school activities and practices. Your kids have been fed and instruction is continuing. Thanks
