I am delighted to nominate Brayan Chacon as the Shoshoni Elementary School Student of the Week. Brayan epitomizes what it means to be a kind, caring Wrangler. When a person has hurt feelings or is injured, he makes sure the person is okay. He then checks in with them throughout the day and even week, insuring the person that there is someone who cares about them.
In addition, Brayan is a conscientious student. He is hardworking, making sure he has completed his daily work correctly and in a timely manner. He is a voracious reader and has completed the most reading minutes (4,305 minutes!) of anyone in my class. Congratulations, Brayan! It is an honor to know and teach you! Mrs. E.

Hello Wrangler Fans,
The JH and Youth volleyball teams had great success at the conference tournaments! The Youth (playing in the 7th grade tourney) won their first round game, and knocked off the #1 seed before falling just a couple of points short in the championship game. They brought home the runner-up trophy!! The JH team had a bye in the first round, won their semifinal match and finished out the championship game with a W!! They now get an invite to the Yellowstone (big school) Conference Tournament this coming Saturday.
On the high school side, this is the week Wind River comes to invade Wrangler Land. The student/athletes would love your support on Thursday for VB and Friday for FB as we host the Cougars!!
Monday marks the 1st practice for JH and Youth wrestling and girls basketball. Due to the quick turnaround from FB/VB, most of the coaches want to give the athletes a day off and start on Tuesday. Please check with the coach regarding practice, and turn in your equipment and uniforms from the FB/VB season on Monday!!
