The current plan is for Shoshoni Schools to run on a 2 hour late start for Thursday, February 23rd. County blades and trucks have been busy all day trying to clear roads, but the wind has not been our friend. Roads will be evaluated in the morning and if any further updates need to be sent out, they will be at that time.
Shoshoni Schools will be canceling school tomorrow, February 22nd, due to road conditions and student safety. Secondary students will need to attend classes virtually as per instructions today. Elementary students will make up the snow day on Monday, February 27th.
Parents of 8th-11th grade students-
Mrs. Mason has been in classes this week talking about class selection for next year, graduation requirements, Hathaway scholarship information, and NCAA requirements.
She has also sent an email to students and guardians with links to the information. Please discuss the information with your student and return the signed form by Monday.
Thanks!
~Mrs Mason
*If students have missed the information due to the late start or leaving for sporting events, we will connect with them Monday or Tuesday!
All after school activities have been canceled for Tuesday February 21st. Activity busses will not run today. Shoshoni Schools will use this notification method in addition to a voice call in the early morning to notify parents, staff, and students if we are having a snow day for Wednesday February 22nd. We are taking a wait and see approach. If we cannot transport students safely to school, secondary students (JH and HS) will be required to attend school virtually and elementary students will make up the day on February 27th, a scheduled elementary Professional development day.
Hello Wrangler Fans,
The Youth boys basketball team, A.K.A. "The Cardiac Kids" held true to form at the conference tournament on Saturday. Please congratulate all the JH/Y coaches and players on a great season!!
The first season of girls wrestling in Wyoming didn't have a regional tournament, but our girls competed at a tournament in Lyman where Abrianna, Lacoda and Brueklyn all placed 1st in their weight classes!!
