Students wrapped up the January theme of RESPONSIBILITY with a familiar domino activity. Accepting responsibility and avoiding responsibility can create a chain reaction in our lives; we can earn privileges or they can pass us by. The thoughtfulness students used to think of things that they are responsible for in the school, their homes, and the community too, was amazing! Thank you families for teaching responsibility!

A huge thank you to all the friends and family that have supported our school's recent fundraiser! Thanks to gift cards that were donated, our first set of items purchased for the classroom recently arrived. The first graders are loving their new blocks, games, and logic puzzles! The whole school sure appreciates the overwhelming generosity from the community.

The Hidden Valley bus will combine PM routes on Thursday February 3rd. Notes will be sent home with students. Heads up: we will also be combining PM routes on 2/11 and 2/18. We will send notes home with details when we get closer to those dates.
LOCKDOWN DRILL FEBRUARY 15, 2022 The safety and welfare of our students is our highest priority. In order to maintain a safe environment for our children to study and learn, it is necessary that we practice our emergency and crisis response plans throughout the year. We conduct drills such as Fire, Lockdown, Earthquake, Evacuation, and Stay Put. The purpose of these drills is to ensure that students and staff are prepared in the event of an emergency. We will prepare our students for how the drill will be conducted, and with reassurance that there is no need to be anxious or scared. Often, children are comforted by the message that lockdowns, like fire drills, are just one more way that adults make sure their children are safe. Students with additional needs will be supported before, during and after the drill. Please call SRO Myers or Kay Watson with any questions.
