Congratulations to Sara Kassens, 1st grade teacher, for earning her National Board Certification; it is the most respected professional certification for K-12 teachers! This is a HUGE commitment and accomplishment and Mrs. Kassens worked extremely hard to earn this distinction! We are so fortunate to have her knowledge and expertise in our school!! Way to go, Mrs. Kassens!! We got to recognize her last week at our student of the month assembly. She joins two other National Board Certified teachers in our district, Mrs. Christensen and Mrs. Engelbrecht.
Thank You to Fast Lane, Brad Hall and Associates, and Exxon Mobil for a $500.00 donation for the support of our math and science programs! They are creating "aha!" moments in our school.
Student Council will be running the coin and dollar drive until December 19th for Make A Wish Wyoming. All the money stays in the state of Wyoming to grant kids wishes.
The jar with the most money will be "pied" Thursday before our Christmas break!

Great reasons to read aloud to your children!!! 💙💛
As the 2nd quarter is coming to an end, the 4th graders have been working so hard, keeping organized, completing makeups and missed work, collaborating on their animal research projects, doing peer tutoring, coming to Wrangler Round-Up, and they sang so beautifully at the Christmas program!! Their teachers treated them to hot chocolate from our school-based coffee shop, Brew Ha Ha, and they invited their first grade friends to join them in the celebration! Keep up the great work 4th grade!
From Mrs. Wallingford:
I wanted to give a big thank you to Mr. Ballou and his students for growing microgreens and sharing with us. We have been putting them on the salad bar. This week we had peas, sunflowers, and salad mix.

We would like these last tag items to be returned by Monday, December 16th, unwrapped with the tag or tag number attached.
