In Kindergarten today the students did a wonderful job leading their own learning. They were able to choose 1 of 6 ways to teach us what they have learned so far in our Zoology Unit. The choices were, building, drawing, speaking, writing, singing/dancing, or a puppet show.

Good morning Wrangler Fans, Greybull was supposed to play at home against Tongue River on Saturday. The fire near Dayton, WY is very close to the school at TR and the smoke is so thick, it's hazardous. The students at TR haven't been in school since Monday morning, so they are canceling events. That cancellation leaves Greybull without a homecoming game. To help out, we will be switching our home/away games with Greybull. New Schedule: Friday, October 4: Shoshoni @ Greybull at 4/5/6pm (the bus leaves at 1pm) Friday, October 25: Greybull @ Shoshoni at 4:30/5:30/6:30pm I have changed all the calendars and updated the bus request. Hello Wrangler Fans, Homecoming is just a little different this year. We will crown our King and Queen and host the dance this Saturday (Oct. 5). The King and Queen will then preside over next week's events while we have all the high school sports at home. I have attached the dress up days and events. The JH/Y football and volleyball teams only have two weeks left before they shift gears to boys wrestling and girls basketball and this is your final opportunity to come support the teams at home games. The SHS Choir has been selected to perform a song with Foreigner at their upcoming concert in Casper on Tuesday Oct 1st. The students will be on stage with the band to sing "I Want To Know What Love Is." Congratulations to the choir students for this incredible opportunity.

Good afternoon Wrangler Fans, The following are changes, cancellations and additions to the sports schedules: HS Football: Wyoming Indian has decided they will not forfeit the varsity game and play our JV. As a result, our JV will play Cody's freshmen on Monday, Oct. 7 at 5pm and our varsity will play Wyoming Indian on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 5pm for Homecoming (the game was moved from Friday to Thursday due to a shortage of HS football officials). Also, the Senior Night game is moved back to a 7pm kickoff to accommodate the officiating crew getting to Shoshoni after doing another game that afternoon. HS Volleyball: Shoshoni C and JV teams will play against Meeteetse JV and Varsity teams on Sept. 26 @ Meeteetse at 4/5pm and in Shoshoni on Oct. 21 at 4/5pm Youth Volleyball: Arapahoe has canceled the Oct. 8 game @ Arapahoe due to a scheduling conflict with their high school team. I'm working on scheduling another date, but it's not looking promising. Ft. Washakie has scheduled the following 2 dates with us: Monday, Sept. 30 Ft. This is the debut year of Shoshoni High School offering a Certified Nursing Assistant class in conjunction with Central Wyoming College! Dr. Vasco was a guest presenter this week. helping the students learn good body mechanics and positioning! We are so proud of these students and look forward to the rest of the semester!
