Hello Wrangler Fans, Thanks to the help of so many workers, the 2023 Wrangler Duals was a great success!! A huge shoutout to Tony Truempler for organizing all the matchups, JJ Pingetzer, Sky Rambo and the wrestling team for setting up and tearing down the mats, Braxton Mills, Russell Gibbel, Alex Mills, Andy Wempen, Ted Robinson, and Amber King for running the clock/book, John Gibbel for announcing, Bridgett Truempler for running the computer, Drew Peregoy and Christina Mills for the administrative duties, and Michelle Rambo for running the hospitality room!! Without your help, we wouldn't be able to host this awesome event. The JH/Y sports banquet that was snowed out in December is rescheduled for this Tuesday. Lastly, we need someone to run the clock and someone to keep the book in the auxiliary gym for the boys basketball C game on Friday at 3:30pm. Hello Wrangler Fans, It was a great week to be a Wrangler Fan! The HS boys bball team beat a trio of 4A Sophomore teams to go 3-0; the HS girls lost a close game to Cody's freshmen, but beat two 4A Sophomore teams, and Meeteetse to 3-1 on the weekend. The HS wrestling team went to Powell with the inaugural tournament for girls' wrestling in Wyoming. Abrianna Kiser, Pehton Truempler and Ethan Tarango all took 1st, Brueklyn Truempler took 2nd, Lacoda Kiser and Branson Thompson took 3rd, and Julian Cabello took 5th in their respective weight classes!! The coming week features the Wrangler Invitational Basketball Tournament where you can watch 36 great matchups from Thursday-Saturday! The Wranglers and Lady Blue play at 4:30/6pm on Thursday, 9/10:30 am on Friday and 5:30/7pm on Saturday. The student/athletes would LOVE to see and hear your support!! Hello Wrangler Fans, The JH wrestling team did very well at their conference tournament with all the 8th grade boys placing in the top 3! The Youth girls played well in Basin and lost a close one against Riverside. The JH girls took 4th in Cowley but showed their heart in a 1 point loss to the #1 ranked grizzlies team in the semifinals! Please congratulate the athletes and coaches on a fantastic season!! We will celebrate the success of JH/Y sports (football, volleyball, wrestling and girls basketball) on Tuesday, December 13 at 6pm in the commons. Parents and athletes are encouraged to attend, Dominos Pizza will be provided. HS winter sports finish preparations for their first contests of the year and will be on the road for tournaments this coming weekend. Thank you to everyone who contributed to another successful Wrangler Food Drive to fill the Wrangler Pack pantry!! Thank you Student Council and Shoshoni Rec Department for your hard work on this as well! Miss Sally and her concession crew also purchased 10 turkeys, Contango and employees donated $500 for the Wrangler Pack Thanksgiving baskets, and Tri-Valley 4H Club donated an additional two Thanksgiving baskets for Wrangler families!! WOW! We are so thankful for all of this generous support of our Wrangler families! Thank you all and Happy Thanksgiving!
